June 2005
President's Corner

George Y. Karmo, P.E.

Our management continues to review our current structure and how we deliver services to our clients. We are working hard to enhance our performance, continue to deliver quality projects and grow our business. In this regard, your management has acted as follows:

One, a listing of TYJT staff per practice, group and outof-
state offices was distributed to all employees. These
lists shall be utilized to delineate responsibilities of the
different practices, groups and offices related to staff
management including but not limited to utilization,
project assignments, needs projections and annual
appraisals.

TYJT management continues to encourage the current practice of close communications between project managers, lead and staff engineers in coordinating staff assignments and prosecution of work. The development of the staff listings is not intended to depart from current practices but to enhance it.

Responsible practice/group personnel shall schedule meetings with their respective staff to disseminate inform- mation and communicate management intent for staff organization.

Core staff members were identified for the following practices, groups and out of state offices: Infrastructure Practice Wastewater Practice Water Practice Technical Support Staff IT & CADD Group Field Support Group Marketing Human Resources Administrative Staff New York Office Cleveland Office
